NEW DELIVERY UPDATE FOR 2025
We have listened to your feedback! As of this next growing year, 2025, we have introduced 2 new shipping seasons:
HOTHOUSE and CUCURBITS. This is in response to the issues some of you have experienced with these plants being delivered later than you had hoped. To ensure that plants that require a longer, warmer growing season get to you in good time to produce a full harvest, we have introduced the following shipping dates for these new seasons, and these plants will be sent separately from the rest of your order.
HOTHOUSE (including all tomatoes, chillies, peppers, aubergines, tomatillos) – delivered in MAY
CUCURBITS (including all courgettes, squashes, pumpkins, cucumbers and melons) – delivered in JUNE
The rest of your summer plants will be delivered separately between the usual Summer delivery dates – JUNE – JULY
How are orders dispatched?
Orders are dispatched in the order received within your selected delivery season.
Pre-orders, those placed before the season starts, are fulfilled first, followed by orders placed during the delivery season.
During peak periods, there may be brief delays. To ensure timely delivery, we recommend placing your order early in the growing season.
We’re committed to delivering your plants on time and appreciate your patience during busy periods.
Our shipping seasons are:
Spring: Orders will be sent out from the beginning of April – end of May
Hot House Plants: Orders will be sent out from the beginning of May – end of May
Cucurbits Plants: Orders containing cucurbits will be sent out from the beginning of June – end of June
Summer: Orders will be sent out from the beginning of June – to end of July
Autumn/Winter: Orders will be sent out from beginning of August – end of September
We start sending out Spring plants in the first week of April. In the months before this, plants will be available to order online from November of the preceding year as pre-orders. Delivery for the year begins in April and ends in October.
For example if you order your Spring Garden in a Box on the 3rd of December 2021, it will arrive in April 2022. If you order a Summer box on the 3rd of December 2021 it will be delivered in June 2022 etc. There may be unexpected delays so please be patient. We will endeavour to get in touch with you if we expect your order to be delayed.
Please note, that if we are ahead of schedule, you may receive your plants sooner than the delivery times above. If you know that you are going to be away for a long period of time, please send us an email informing us of the dates you are away so we can avoid sending your order during that time. Simply reply to your order confirmation to let us know.
What if my order is for local collection?
You can collect your order from the Farm if you choose ‘Local Pickup’ at checkout. Here’s how it works:
- Collection Notification: When your order is ready, we’ll email you a link to book a convenient pickup time. Collections are available Monday-Thursday after 3 pm, allowing our team time to prepare all local orders.
- Order Packing: Orders are packed in the order received and based on plant availability. We’ll do our best to group all items in one collection slot, so if you’re waiting, it may be that some plants aren’t ready yet. Rest assured, we’ll notify you as soon as your entire order is available.
- Special Dates: If you have a specific collection date in mind, please mention it in the ‘Notes’ section at checkout, and we’ll do our best to accommodate it, depending on availability.
- End of Season: Please refer to the website for final pickup dates for each delivery season. Plants not collected by the season’s end may not be eligible for a refund unless prior arrangements were made. Be sure to check your email and book your collection slot before the season closes, as plants are unavailable after this period.

Courier information
We ship all orders with Royal Mail with next-day (24-hour) delivery, so your plants should arrive the day after they’re collected from the polytunnel.
- Tracking Your Order: You’ll first receive an ‘Order Complete’ notification from Propagation Place. Shortly after, Royal Mail will send a delivery update with tracking details.
- If Your Order Is Delayed: If your order doesn’t arrive within 1-2 days of the ‘Order Complete’ notification, please contact us so we can assist and provide tracking information if needed. Although rare, orders can occasionally go missing, and we’ll promptly replace, resend, or refund any lost orders.
- Shipping Restrictions: Due to new Windsor Framework and NIPHL plant health regulations, we’re currently unable to ship to Northern Ireland.
